Volunteer Donor Services Support

Place of work: Australia for UNHCR Office, Sydney City, 2000

Objective:                                                                                                       

To provide assistance in donor communication and administrative support to the organisations permanent employees working in Donor Services

Whats Involved

Key tasks:

  • Phoning donors to update details
  • Phoning new donors to welcome them to the organisation
  • Preparing mail-outs
  • Filing
  • Basic word processing and computer tasks

Skills required:

  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Previous experience of working in an administrative or office environment would be an advantage
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Maturity, reliability and an ability to seek advice/assistance

Training:

  • Volunteers will be given a relevant induction to the organisation
  • Training will be provided on an ongoing basis
